Here's real convenience: you can insert an SD card into the front of the machine and get instant prints without having to use a PC. You can print JPEG images from a digital camera or PDF, JPEG or TIFF files from any PC. Images appear on the panel display as thumbnails*; and to print, you simply just touch it. There's no need to use the printer driver or open an application. A PC card slot for various other types of removable media is also provided.
Scanning
Scan your hard copy documents directly to your desktop quickly and clearly. Simply place your documents into the feeder and press the scan key, select the name of the location you wish to send the documents to and press start. Now you have an electronic formatted document that you may electronically file, or you may attach to e-mail.
Printing
High speed and high quality network printing. It is as simple as clicking your printer icon on your favorite word processing program. For those of you that want more you simply click your file than print key on your program and select your Panasonic MFP, select properties and than you can select sorting, stapling, 2-sided printing and a host of other features that are available on your MFP not to mention the time savings and cost savings over laser printers.
Copying
Excellent copy quality and reliability makes your Panasonic MFP a superior copy machine. Whether you need 2-sided copies, collating or stapling the large touch screen display makes your job easy. With all the features that are available you can create all kinds of documents and presentations in a snap. You will be able to reduce and enlarge copies, center small items, combine multi-pages into one page, booklet creation, page numbering, date stamping, placing covers on your document, indexes and a whole lot more.
Faxing
Allow you to send your documents fast and reliably with our super G3 fax modem. With Panasonic enhanced software (Error Correction Mode); you are assured of fast and reliable transmissions. With additional software you may fax directly from your desk, without printing out your original to be faxed. This is done by simply opening up the desktop faxing software, click on or add the fax number you wish to send to, attach the letter and press send. Simple, quick & reliable.
I-Faxing (Internet Faxing)
You can send hard copy documents as e-mail attachments directly from your Panasonic MFP. Load your documents into the document feeder press the e-mail button and either select a preprogrammed e-mail address or type in a new address and press start and away it goes.
